DESCRIPTION

This home for a small family had chopped up interior rooms with only a small one-car garage accessed off a narrow driveway. A master plan was developed for this project so it could be built in phases to meet the schedule and budget parameters of the clients.

Phase one was a small remodel of the upstairs to create a larger bedroom for the daughter. A new in home office area was also created in the upstairs. Phase two added the new two-car garage that is accessed off the main street and allowed for a new guest bedroom to be added above this new space. The old garage was converted to a laundry/mudroom. Phase three will add a new master suite off of the back side of the house and a new family room on the upper level.

FINISHES

The exterior of this house had outdated materials and no sense of style. The new design gives the exterior a "Craftsman" style feel with outrigger and arched beams at the garage addition and upstairs roof. Oversized horizontal trim work also helps make this home look completely updated along with new colors and roofing.
